Roncucci&Partners: 24 years of internationalisation consulting

Last 1 March, Roncucci&Partners celebrated 24 years of activity. A significant milestone, marking almost a quarter of a century of constant commitment in accompanying Italian companies towards new horizons, supporting them in the challenge of global competitiveness. In this time, the world has changed radically: markets have transformed, technologies have revolutionised the way of doing business and the needs of companies have become more and more articulated. Roncucci&Partners has been able to evolve dynamically, anticipating trends and adapting with increasingly advanced tools.

Founded in the early 2000s, Roncucci&Partners took its first steps with a strong specialisation in management consulting. The focus was clear: helping companies to structure themselves, optimise processes and improve management. But over time, the market demanded more. Italian companies wanted to grow, to expand beyond national borders, to compete with global players.

Thus, in the following years, Roncucci&Partners integrated management consulting with a strong internationalisation orientation, accompanying over 1,000 companies in 60 countries and actively contributing to their success. This has led to the opening of foreign offices in Serbia, India, Brazil, Tunisia, South Africa and the United States, which have allowed us to be directly present in strategic markets and to offer even more effective and customised support.

At the same time, growth has led Roncucci&Partners to collaborate with important Italian and international bodies and institutions: among others, ICE, the Emilia-Romagna Region, the confindustrial and chamber of commerce system, the World Bank, up to USAID, the US government’s development cooperation agency, with which we worked during the Covid-19 pandemic to support a group of Italian companies reconverted in a period of great uncertainty.

Digitisation and internationalisation: the future of consulting

Today, in a context where change is accelerating and digital is reshaping business development strategies, Roncucci&Partners has launched Digisuite, an innovative platform that redefines the concept of internationalisation. The new paradigm is based on three strategic drivers: sustainability, technology and artificial intelligence.

Digisuite represents the natural evolution of our internationalisation consultancy: a digital ecosystem that provides companies with access to qualified content and information, advanced tools based on AI, an essential element for business development and necessary to be competitive, and tailor-made development paths to face the challenge of globalisation with an intelligent and innovative approach. These 24 years have been an extraordinary journey of successes, challenges and transformations. But our passion for the world of business and strategic consulting for internationalisation has remained the same.

18 years at Roncucci&Partners: my personal experience

Personally, I have been in Roncucci&Partners for 18 years. I have had the privilege to live, step by step, all the evolutionary phases of business internationalisation consulting in Italy: from when it was an option for a few, to when it has become a structural necessity for anyone who wants to compete. Over the years I have seen the world, companies’ needs, reference markets, and even the very way of consulting change. But one thing has never changed: our approach.

Roncucci&Partners always tries to keep up with the times, with a spirit of adaptation and a sense of responsibility towards the companies we support. We do this with seriousness, honesty and with a constant commitment to stay up-to-date on what is happening in the markets and on the ever-changing and evolving drivers of global competition.

That is why I look to the future with confidence. Because I know that, as we have always done, we will continue to put passion, expertise and vision at the service of Italian companies. Because, in the end, this is what it means to do our job: to help companies grow, evolve and remain protagonists in a changing world.
